On Wednesday 12/01/2010 at approximately 1:25am a bedroom fire was reported at 3930 Grand Avenue in Hampton Township. Police on scene reporting smoke showing and flames visible from 2nd floor window, all occupants are out.
Hampton (Station 164), North Hampton (Station 165), Elfinwild (Station 261) and Hampton Ems were dispatched on the initial assignment. 164 Officer arrived on the scene and reported working fire division two of a 2 1/2 story brick residential structure.
Command requested a 2nd alarm Engine company added to the assignment shortly into the incident. Peebles (Station 188) was dispatched to fulfill the 2nd alarm assignment.
Crews made an aggressive interior attack and had a quick knock on the fire. Crews remained in the scene for an extended period of time performing overhaul operations.
